I studied Social Work at the Huguenot College in Wellington, Western Cape and qualified in 2001.  My social work experience includes family care and later mental health, with 17 years experience in the latter field.  Mental health is my passion, especially the counselling of persons with psychiatric conditions.  I also have a keen interest in substance abuse and have some experience in this field as well.  I also serve on the management boards of a couple of NPO's.  I've always loved helping people.
