My career has spanned academic, corporate and private practitioner fields. I am actively involved in private practice in Johannesburg and Randburg, supporting people in finding balance, resilience and meaning in life. I am a Marriage Therapist and prefer to use the Imago model for couple therapy. I work with families and assist people to deal with different traumas and losses in life. Life coaching and helping people to find direction and a clear vision is another focus of my work. Additionally, I am affiliated with various Employee Assistance Services as a Wellness Consultant and Therapist.
I utilise an integrative approach, meaning that I do not subscribe to only one psychotherapeutic school of thought. I believe that each client is unique and my is approach is therefore tailored accordingly to service each client's distinctive needs and desires. The initial session will be an assessment and a discussion on reaching goals which will contribute to resolving your present challenge in life. Each session will be 50-55 minutes and my rate is closely linked with medical aid rates.
