I am Nokuthula Veronica Gumede a registered professional Social Worker . I have the following qualifications ie BA ( SW) BA (Hons) and M.A in Community Work . I have been in the field of Social Work for the past thirty five years . I have been exposed to the various levels of service delivery i.e. Social Worker , Supervisor , Service Office Manager and a Social Work Manager Social Work is a calling to me and as it is a helping profession I like to help other people . I am passionate about the profession . I have vast knowledge and experience in child care and protection I have also vast knowledge and experience in statutory work . I believe in promoting the well being of all people.

The key services that are rendered by OWethu Private Practice are counselling, child care and protection services , services to the disabled and the elderly, family therapy bereavement / grief , trauma counselling, divorce matters , support services to victims of gender based violence, substance abuse , parenting and counselling services to HIV/AIDS patients. The main objective of the Practice is to build resilience within families .
