I am a founder member of SAASWIPP and served on the committee for many years.
I have been working as a social worker for over 50 years and still find it very meaningful, especially just offering an understanding and empathic ear in the counselling field.
I have worked in welfare organisations, schools and private practice.
I was director of Marriage Guidance, JHB and later of Life Line ,JHB.
Besides counselling, over the years I have done quite a bit of investigation for court concerning accident , divorce and custody issues.
I have also done a lot of supervision of social work colleagues
At present I am working in full time private practice.
In view of the Covid 19 issues, I am doing telephonic and on line counselling only.
My areas of specialisation are:
*Supervision of social work colleagues
*Working with individuals, couples in any kind of relationship.
I am happy to see any person from upwards of 12 years old.
As far as individuals are concerned, I can help with anxiety, depression, relationship and trauma experiences
As far as couples(straight or gay, married or not) are concerned, I can help with relationship difficulties and if necessary divorce or ending of the relationship
