I am a registered social worker, with long term experience in children's, adolescent and adult psychiatric units, as well as a training in family therapy at the Tavistock Clinic, London. I have been in private practice sine 1980 and was a founder member of the South African Association for Social Workers in Private Practice.

My current practice is based on working with adult individuals and couples. I focus on relationships and the management of stress and life adjustment processes. My practice also includes counselling the psycho-social aspects of certain psychiatric conditions, in co-operation with medical treatment.
