Eunice Marais is a registered social worker and accredited mediator in private practice. She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Stellenbosch University in 2014, followed by a Master of Social Work (Cum Laude) in 2016, also from Stellenbosch University. In 2023, she completed her Master’s degree in Forensic Practice in Social Work through North-West University.
With a particular interest in working with children and supporting victims of sexual abuse, Eunice specialises in assessing children, conducting care and contact evaluations, and undertaking forensic investigations into allegations of abuse.
Eunice’s interest in high-conflict situations—particularly those involving couples navigating contentious divorce proceedings—motivated her to pursue advanced training in mediation. As a mediator, she helps families explore alternative, amicable, and constructive approaches to resolving conflict without resorting to litigation. She firmly believes that mediation offers a more cost-effective and empowering solution for managing disputes and fostering healthier relationships.
