Tresty Thobeka Duba is a Social Worker by Profession. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts In Social Science Degree from the University Of South Africa (UNISA) IN 2006. I have 14 years of experience practicing as a Social Worker. My working experience started at the Department of Social Development as a Generic Social Worker. This opportunity exposed me in working with children,adults,families, Elderly people, Persons living with disabilities and Substance abuse cases. In 2011 I became a Child Protection Register Coordinator of the Mangaung Metro ( this is a register that consists of the names of the children who are victims of abuse. The register is there to ensure that they receive protection and support) I then later moved to work with cases of Domestic Violence at Tshepong Victim Empowerment Center ,still at DSD. I left the Department of Social Development in February 2016.
I then opened my Private Practice on the 1st March 2016 and I'm managing it to date. I accept cash and medical aid payments. Office hours are 8 O'clock - 16h00 Monday - Saturday, Sundays and holidays are closed. Following services are rendered : - Family,Couples and individual counselling
